Award-winning items

There are scientific reviews of transactional analysis in various languages, among those we know the most, in France:

  • the Transactional Analysis Journal (TAJ), ITAA review ,
  • the AAT (News Transactional Analysis), French magazine transactional analysis IFAT.

Prizes have been created to reward the best articles in these magazines.

Eric Bern Award

The Eric BERNE Prize was created in 1971 to perpetuate the memory of Bern’s scientific contributions. Originally, this award was given each year to the inventor of a new scientific concept in TA In 1990, the ITAA Board of Trustee decided to change the title and scope of the award. It is now known as the « Eric Berne Memorial Award in Transactional Analysis ». It is awarded every year to contributions to the theory or practice of TA, or to the comparison, or integration of TA with other therapeutic practices.

Raymond Hostie Award

The AAT publish since 1977 translations of articles, from foreign magazines but also original articles.

To stimulate research and knowledge sharing in French, the AAT Editorial Board created the Raymond HOSTIE Award in 1987, named after the journal’s founder.
